Anna had worked in the service of the Lord for her life and was an old woman at the time of Jesus’ birth. When she saw the long awaited Messiah, she rejoiced in a way that few others could or ever would.
Giving thanks for Jesus is so simple that we often take Him for granted. Occasionally we must look at Jesus through the eyes of another to regain the excitement and sense of thanks that we should have.
